urban design

Cities evolve as populations shift and patterns of living, working, and movement change. We partner with public agencies to create integrated, well informed urban environments that respond to current conditions while planning deliberately for the future.

Importantly, each community brings its own character and strengths, and our work helps express and strengthen those qualities in ways that reflect who they are and how they want to grow.  Our people-first, equity-driven approach engages a wide range of community stakeholders to improve connectivity, accessibility, and wayfinding. Through careful research and collaboration, we design spaces that are intuitive to navigate and easy to access. The result is urban environments that improve everyday experience while expanding access, equality, connection, and opportunity.

Master Planning

Universities, medical facilities, and corporate campuses require extensive coordination and thoughtful planning. We begin by understanding how each environment functions, how spaces connect and share infrastructure, and how people move through the campus over time. We also consider phasing, long-term flexibility, and future growth from the outset. Our team supports decision-making across diverse stakeholders, aligning priorities and guiding collaboration to create cohesive, adaptable campuses that meet today’s needs and remain responsive as demands evolve.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure shapes how cities function and connect. These projects often emphasize technical performance, efficiency, and regulatory requirements, with limited focus on how people experience these systems in daily life.

We partner with public agencies, municipalities, private business, and consulting firms, approaching complex infrastructure projects with architectural and design expertise grounded in human experience. From the outset, we consider connectivity and sustainability alongside technical and operational requirements, ensuring these priorities remain integrated throughout the design process. Our design approach results in infrastructure solutions that are technically sound, resilient, and responsive to the communities they support.
